Curriculum SVVU Under Graduate (B.V.Sc) Regulation, 2016 (Veterinary Council of India-Minimum Standards for Veterinary Education 2016)
Duration 51/2 years, Five Professional year, fourth professional year is having 1½ year tennure
Eligibility criteria A pass in two-year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other Examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University or Intermediate Board with the subjects mainlyi) Physics, ii) Chemistry, iii) Biology and iv) English A candidate under general category for admission to the B.V.Sc. Degree course must have passed in each of the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and obtained 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects, at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes / the Scheduled and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) (Differently abled) shall be 5% less than that prescribed for general category i.e.,47.5%).
Age 15 years to 22 years as on 31st August of the admitting year. In respect of SC / ST / PwD 27 years.
Admissions Based on Merit in AP EAPCET 2022 duly following Presidential Order & Rule of reservation including G.O.Rt.550, dated30.7.2001.
Twenty-five per cent (25%) of the seats in the SVVU are reserved for candidates coming from families of Agriculturists (Farmers) owning not less than 1 (one) acre of land either in the name of the parents or in the name of the candidates and who have studied for a minimum of 4 years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas.
