Dr.Nekkanti Dhanalakshmi assumed charges as Associate Dean, CVSc Garividi on 28.3.2026. She did her BVSc& AH, MVSc in Vety.Surgery & Radiology from CVSc, Tirupati and Ph.D from MVC, Chennai; She worked as Asst.Prof. (1998-2007), Associate Prof. (2007-2013), Professor & Head (2013-2026) at CVSc, Tirupati and CVSc, Proddatur. She served for 13 years as Head of dept of surgery and clinical complex and development done with income generation. Prepared practical lab.manuals and research work done in Veterinary orthopaedic surgery with novel implants and bone grafting technology. Designed low cost circular fixators for fracture treatment in large animals. Guided PG and Ph.D students and also treated many animals of rare surgical conditions. Published 193 papers in various journals and presented 120 papers on research and clinical case study. Awarded gold medals as best paper presentation and received appreciation awards in National symposiums.
